Having been throughly road-tested by Mr Wink, the “Escuro” EP provides the perfect example of Parker’s talent. Lead cut “Inerstate” is a moody relentless number. Always teetering on the edge of boiling point. “Bodytrade” sees things bubble over. A romping heads-down groove. The title track “Escuro” returns the calm with its wonderful warm depth.
