If you dug The Softshoe EP you will find this one to be a nice folow-up. It comes with three super deep tracks that will move through your crowd with ease. 'Slim Pickens' on the side A features rich drum work and panned effects that come and go as they please. The cavernous vocal sample will guide you through the darkness and the liquid bassline will keep you warm. 'The Getaway' is my pick with lush breaks and whispering effects enhanced by muted vocals designed to play tricks on your mind. The title cut 'Connective', builds up a soothing rhythm with conga-percussion and syrupy bass. This leaves plenty of room for mixing and adding layers of sound.
